We have great news! The KFLA Health Unit has given us permission to use the Senior’s Centre for public worship, even though recreational facilities are not permitted to open until Stage 3. The Senior’s Centre has agreed, and so we will be back to in-person worship this Sunday morning, June 27 at 10:00 AM.
Capacity will remain at 50 and we will be following the same protocols as before:
- screening at the door
- masks during worship
- no congregational singing
- a slightly different way of receiving Communion
- no gathering before or after church
Unfortunately, under the current guidelines, we are still not permitted to offer a children’s program. Children are welcome to come to church, provided they sit with their parents during the service. We realize that this will not be possible for some families, and we apologize. Know that we miss you all very much and are looking forward to having you back with us as soon as government regulations allow. These are not the best circumstances in which to worship; however, they are better than not being able to be together at all.
For those who do not feel comfortable to return in person, or who have joined us on-line and do not live in Kingston, we will continue to livestream the service on our Facebook page and hope that you will continue to worship with us virtually.
Please pray whether God would have you join us in person this Sunday. It will be wonderful to be with each other and to share in Holy Communion together. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
To help expedite the screening process at the door, if you are planning on coming to church, please print and complete the self screening form and bring it with you Sunday morning.
