Daniel: Uncompromising Faith

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank..”
(Daniel 1:8)

Deny God or die. Our integrity as Christians may never be put to the life-or-death test. However, like it or not, it is being tested. Every day in obvious and subtle ways–in public and in private–we face decisions that make or break our integrity. What we watch, what we read, what we say, what we do, what we think–even what we refuse to do. It all adds up to a life of integrity, or a life lacking it. Will we compromise or will we remain firm in our convictions? Will we seek to embrace the things of the world or the things of God? Whatever decision we make, we will either give off light that others see, admire, and are drawn to, or blend in with everyone else.

Who is the real you? Can you change to become the person God wants you to be?

Based on clear biblical principles for putting integrity into action, this series will look at the life of Daniel to illustrate how we can to stand strong in our faith–especially when we are tempted to compromise and conform with the world around.
